All Persian Tabbies must have at least one parent with the Agouti gene:

Full Register: Persian Tabby offspring of Persian Tabby to Persian Tabby in approved colours. Parents, grandparents and great grandparents to be listed in Full Register column.
Supplementary Register: Persian Tabby offspring of two Persian, or Persian to Exotic SH Variant in approved colours listed in Full or Supplementary Register column or where one or both parents has a Reference Register Persian or Exotic SH Variant or Exotic SH within three generations.
Experimental Register: Persian Tabby offspring with Preliminary recognition of Persian parents listed in Full or Supplementary columns.
Reference Register: Persian Tabby offspring where one or both parents are a non recommended Persian or Exotic SH Variant. Offspring may be registered as Persian Tabby only when the preceding four generations is from the Breed section, Long Hairs Persian Type. Only cats with the preceding four generations from the Breed Section, Long Hair Persian Type, may have their offspring placed on the Supplemetary Register if they are mated back to an approved Full Register Persian LH.
